From the moment you unlock a Lime vehicle until it is safely locked back up, you are accountable for it and any charges incurred. If you walk away without pausing or ending your ride and the vehicle is stolen, you may be held liable for the extra time charged.
To ensure you are only charged for the time you actually ride, always manage your trip directly in the Lime app:
Pause your ride if you need to step away for a quick errand but want to keep the vehicle reserved.
End your ride completely as soon as you reach your destination to stop the trip timer.
