You may see a pre-authorization hold on your card when you start a ride. This will show up as a "pending" charge on your bank statement. This hold ensures there are enough funds available to pay for your ride. We release this temporary authorization immediately after your ride ends. Since they are not actual charges, you may not see this show up as a refund to your account. Instead, this will usually show as an adjustment to your available balance or the removal of the pending charge from your account. Our payment issuer will typically remove this charge within 7-12 business days. Your bank may take longer to reflect this release. We encourage you to check with your bank to understand their policies on pre-authorization holds.
