LimePrime is a monthly subscription program that offers riders discounted ride rates, waived unlock fees, and extended vehicle reservation times.
LimePrime membership benefits
Subscribing to LimePrime gives you access to the following perks:
- Free unlocks: Pay no unlock fee on any Lime vehicle.
- Discounted flat-rate pricing: Pay a fixed rate for rides up to 20 minutes, with lower flat rates for short rides up to 5 minutes. Rides over 20 minutes are charged at the flat rate plus a discounted per-minute rate for additional time.
- Extended reservations: Reserve any available Lime vehicle for up to 30 minutes at no extra cost.
When you host a group ride, your discounted LimePrime pricing also applies to your guests. Each guest trip is charged separately from the host’s trip, using the same discounted flat-rate pricing.
Pricing and how to subscribe
LimePrime pricing varies by city and market. You can view LimePrime pricing and subscribe directly in the Lime app using your default payment method.
To subscribe to LimePrime:
- Open the Lime app.
- In the main menu, tap Wallet > LimePrime (or Plans & Pricing > LimePrime).
- Review local LimePrime pricing and subscription terms.
- Tap Join LimePrime.
- Your default payment method is selected automatically. If you want to use a different payment method, select it before confirming your subscription.
- Tap Pay Now to confirm your subscription.
Note: LimePrime subscriptions automatically renew each month using your default payment method until canceled. LimePrime benefits are valid only in the country where purchased and cannot be used in another country.
Managing your subscription
LimePrime automatically renews every month on your billing date using your selected payment method. You can cancel your subscription at any time in the Lime app before your next renewal. To avoid being charged for the next month, cancel at least one day before your next billing cycle.
If you cancel, your LimePrime benefits will continue until the end of your current monthly billing period. After that, your benefits will end, and you won’t be charged again.
