Ride Pass Terms and Conditions

In connection with the Services, you may purchase, activate, access, or otherwise use a Ride Pass, which is subject to these terms and conditions, as may be amended, and Lime’s User Agreement, the terms and conditions of which are expressly incorporated by this reference (together, the “Ride Pass Terms”). Any undefined, capitalized terms will have the meaning set forth in the User Agreement. Ride Passes are offered to you by the Lime entity who provides you with Services under your User Agreement. 

Ride Pass is a service which offers you the ability to purchase bundled benefits (e.g., unlocks, rides, discounts, and/or minutes) in select markets. Ride Pass may be available to you as a one-time Pass or as a subscription-based Pass of various durations as stated in your in-app or email offer (“Offer”) (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, or another duration as stated). Each Offer will include important details and terms, such as where and when a Ride Pass may be used, the benefit(s) conferred by the Ride Pass (e.g., whether starts/unlocks are included in the Ride Pass and the total number of eligible starts/unlocks, minutes, and/or rides for each Ride Pass, or the maximum duration of each eligible ride) (“Ride Pass Benefits”), the cost of the Ride Pass (“Rate”), and if it’s a subscription-based Ride Pass, the billing interval (“Billing Cycle”). A Ride Pass may include minutes that you can use with the corresponding Ride Pass service (“Riding Minutes”). Riding Minutes apply to each eligible ride taken within the duration of the one-time Ride Pass or within a Billing Cycle in the case of a subscription-based Ride Pass, up to a cumulative total number of minutes not to exceed the Riding Minutes identified in your Offer. Additionally, some Ride Pass Benefits may apply only after you meet a minimum fare and that will be communicated to you in the Offer.

From time to time and at our sole discretion, we may offer “bonus” Ride Pass Benefits which are in addition to the base Ride Pass Benefits (e.g., additional discount on rides taken during a specific time of day or on a specific route, free reservations, free pauses). The specific terms applicable to such a “bonus” will be communicated to you in the Offer. If at the time of your initial purchase of a Ride Pass subscription, the Ride Pass Benefits included a “bonus” benefit, you will continue to get such “bonus” in each subsequent Billing Cycle, provided that Lime reserves the right to modify the “bonus” in its discretion, provided further that in the event Lime withdraws such a “bonus” or modifies the “bonus” in a way that lowers the promotional value you would receive, such modification will be accompanied by notice to you and an opportunity to cancel your subscription-based Ride Pass. Such “bonuses” are limited time offers and except as provided herein, Lime reserves the right to withdraw or to modify any “bonus” at any time without prior notice and with no liability.

Please refer to your Offer for details before purchasing the Ride Pass. Standard unlock fees, ride fees, and/or per minute fees applies after the Ride Pass Benefits are exhausted. 

When you buy a Ride Pass, you agree to these Terms, as well as the specific terms of the Offer. In addition, when you buy a subscription-based Ride Pass (as stated in the Offer), you will be charged the applicable Rate for your first Billing Cycle on the date of purchase, which activates the subscription-based Ride Pass for the term set forth in your Offer. Unless you cancel, you agree to be charged at the Billing Cycle stated in your Offer based on the initial purchase date. Your subscription-based Ride Pass will automatically renew at the beginning of each Billing Cycle, and the Ride Pass Rate will automatically be charged to your selected payment method. Offers are limited and subject to change.

You may cancel your subscription-based Ride Pass within the Lime App at any time prior to your next scheduled payment to avoid further charges. To do this, go to the Ride Pass section in the Lime App and cancel the subscription. If you cancel your Ride Pass, you will still have access to your Ride Pass Benefits until the end of the current Billing Cycle. 

Partial minutes are rounded up to the nearest whole minute. In the case of a reserved ride, a reservation fee applies unless the Ride Pass includes free reservations for the duration stated on the Offer at the time of purchase. Ride Pass has no cash value and is non-transferable. Ride Pass is not eligible for refunds or credit, whether used or not, unless set forth in these terms or as required by applicable laws. Ride Pass is valid only in the country where purchased. Ride Pass is valid on Lime-owned electric scooters electric bicycles, and electric mopeds, except in the event the Offer expressly excludes a vehicle type from the Ride Pass. Ride Pass may not be available in all regions or to all users. Ride Pass cannot be combined, stored, or transferred, and are not valid with Lime Access, Group Rides, or with promotion codes or discounts. Lime may revoke a Ride Pass if a Lime account has been flagged for any suspicious or fraudulent activity. Lime may update these terms at any time. Any material changes to these terms will be communicated to you. Subject to applicable law, when accessing or using the Services, you will consent to be bound by these terms, as amended at the time. You are free to stop using Ride Pass and/or the Services at any time.

Free Trial. Your Offer may include a free trial offer (the “Free Trial Offer”) that entitles you to access a Ride Pass free of charge for the trial length stated in the Free Trial Offer (“Free Trial”). 

Your Free Trial begins from the moment that you accept such Free Trial Offer and continues for the trial length stated in the Free Trial Offer (the “Free Trial Period”). By submitting your payment details, you accept the Free Trial Offer and consent to being enrolled in a paid subscription-based Ride Pass of the duration stated in the Free Trial Offer after your Free Trial ends. At the end of the Free Trial Period, you will be automatically billed in accordance with the Free Trial Offer terms and at the beginning of each Billing Cycle. If you decide that you do not want to become a paying user of Ride Pass upon the lapse of the Free Trial Period, you must terminate your subscription prior to the end of the Free Trial Period. If you cancel your subscription prior to the end of the Free Trial Period, we reserve the right to immediately terminate your access to the Free Trial and if we do so, you may not reactivate the Free Trial. You may only use a Free Trial Offer once, unless we offer you subsequent Free Trial Offers. If you are a current or previous subscriber to a subscription-based Ride Pass, you may be ineligible for this Free Trial Offer (see Free Trial Offer terms). This Free Trial Offer may only be valid in select locations, for select users, or applicable to specific products only, as determined by Lime and as set forth in the Free Trial Offer. Lime reserves the right to withdraw or to modify this Free Trial Offer at any time without prior notice and with no liability.
