It’s important to always end your right correctly. This includes leaving the vehicle upright and in a valid parking area.
To comply with city requirements, there are limits on where a ride can end. Failure to follow these parking requirements may result in fines for you or any Group Ride guests. Fines may get charged when any of the following occurs:
- Parking in a No Parking Zone. No Parking Zones are restricted areas where users can’t park inside them.
- Not parking at a designated parking spot. Some cities require parking only in certain parking spots.
For the most up-to-date regulations for your city, refer to the map in the Lime app. The map will guide you to valid parking areas.
To avoid fines in the future, make sure to end your ride in a valid parking area and follow all steps to end the ride. For more information about how to properly end your ride, refer to this article.
